The site

getfaro.dev provides information about faro, an unofficial, open-source terminal client for Signal, and an in-browser demo of it with made-up data.

The software

faro is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. These terms don’t change that licence. Your use of faro itself is governed by the AGPL, under which it is provided without warranty.

The demo

The demo’s characters and messages are fictional, an affectionate parody. The demo runs in your browser, sends nothing and connects to no Signal account.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt unauthorised access to the site or its server, disrupt it, or use it to break the law.

Availability

The site is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Content and features may change or be discontinued.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided without warranties, and liability is limited to legally required cases.
